Heartland of America Park
The Heartland of America Park is a 31-acre retreat in downtown Omaha next to the Mississippi River. The park features a lake and two fountains that shoot 300-feet into the air. Just after dusk, computerized lights combine with the fountains to provide a light show. During the daylight hours, children can ride the General Marion tour boat, which will show them the park, including the lagoon and the Lewis & Clark landing.
