Le Bleu Ridge
Le Bleu Ridge is located in the Page House estate, a pre-Civil War landmark (it was built in 1840) located in the heart of Nelson County. From the property, visitors have a breathtaking view of Blue Ridge's Humpback Mountain. The estate has rooms as well as individual cottages, and also features a wine tasting room that showcases the Flying Fox Vineyard Vintages. Le Bleu Ridge is close to the Appalachian Trail, Blue Ridge Parkway and the Shenandoah National Park.

Afton House
Afton House has been receiving guests since the 1800s. At first it was a summer resort, and now it's a great place for bed and breakfast guests to stay. It features large, comfortable, rooms decorated with antiques, as well as full cottages available for reservation. There is an on-site antique shop, one of the only remnants of the original Afton House (there was a fire on the estate in the 1960s and the estate was rebuilt afterward). A rose garden and an outdoor pool provide a relaxing atmosphere for guests. Outdoor attractions nearby include the Shenandoah National Park and Skyline Drive, as well as the Valley of Virginia. As far as historical attractions go, Monticello (Thomas Jefferson's historic home), and Montpelier (James Madison's historic home) are both nearby.
