Limerick Golf Club
Located in Limerick City, the Limerick Golf Club is one of the oldest golf clubs in Ireland, dating back to 1891. Architect Alister McKenzie, who designed Augusta National in Augusta, Ga., designed many of the holes on the course. From the blue tees, the par-72 course is 6,500 meters long. There are three par-5 holes, the longest of which is 479 meters. The shortest par-3 hole is 124 meters. Visitors are urged to check availability and make tee time reservations due to the large number of memberships to the club. Motorized buggies and golf carts are available for rent.

Castletroy Golf Club
Founded in 1937, Castletroy Golf Club was redesigned in 2006 according to U.S. Golf Association (USGA) standards. From the blue tees, the 5,854-meter par-71 course features three par-5 holes. The longest hole is 493 meters, while the shortest hole is 146 meters. Rental options include motorized golf buggies, golf carts and pull carts. Golf club sets for visitors also are offered for a fee. Tee time reservations can be made online.

Rathbane Golf Club
Rathbane Golf Course is a public 18-hole course on the southern edge of Limerick City. More than 700 men, women and youths are members of the course. From the blue tees, the par-70 course is 5,476 meters long. It features three par-5 holes, the longest of which is 476 meters. The shortest par-3 hole is 142 meters. Motorized golf carts and buggies are available for rent.
