Brasserie Swiss
Celebrating 32 years of business, this restaurant is owned and operated by Swiss natives Verena and Rolf Baumgartner, who moved to New York from Holland in 1970. Their Ossining restaurant serves authentic Swiss dishes such as rahmschnitzel (veal cutlet) with noodles, spatzil bolognese and Wiener schnitzel. Specialties include roestizza bernese and Swiss cheese fondue for two. The wine and beer list is extensive and mostly European-influenced. Desserts are decadent and reflect the owners' roots.

La Lanterna Ristorante and Caffe
La Lanterna offers traditional Italian dishes with a Swiss twist in a relaxed, intimate atmosphere. The menu is the inspiration of its Swiss chef, who has created more than 100 Italian-Swiss recipes. The menu includes a fusing of contemporary and traditional dishes, as in the vitello a la zurichese, a veal dish accompanied by Swiss potato pancakes. Other dishes include specialty pizzas, New Zealand lamb and pancetta-wrapped filet mignon. A large outdoor patio provides seating in the warmer months and is available for parties.
