The city of Philadelphia is known as a major business and cultural center, as well as an important location in colonial American history. However, it is also centrally located to several outdoor opportunities, including fishing at Point Pleasant in New Jersey, boating on the Delaware River and golfing at the Franklin Delano Roosevelt Golf Club near the city's waterfront. Visitors will find plentiful dining options in downtown Philadelphia near the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts.

Estia Restaurant

Estia Restaurant is located two blocks north of the Kimmel Center. It serves Greek and Mediterranean cuisine in an upscale, casual dining room that is designed to look like a large indoor courtyard. Entrees include whole fish selections, filet mignon and lamb chops. Traditional Greek vegetable dishes and salads round out the list of offerings. Diners can choose a three-course, pre-theater prix fixe menu on select nights, and a special two-course express lunch on weekdays. Estia also serves brunch, which features Greek toast, poached eggs and a smoked fish platter. The restaurant is open daily for lunch and dinner, with Sunday brunch at noon.
