Originally founded as a social club for German immigrants in the 19th century, Eichenkranz ("oak wreath") continues as a restaurant serving moderately priced German and continental fare. Signature dishes include the house schnitzel, a cordon bleu-like fillet of veal stuffed with melted cheese and topped with smoked ham.
