Carolina Beach State Park

Offering easy access to the freshwater of the Cape Fear River, the estuarine waters of the Masonboro Sound and the saltwater of the Atlantic Ocean, Carolina Beach State Park is a mecca for boating and fishing recreation.

The park's marina has two boat-launch ramps and 42 boat slips. The park also features 6 miles of hiking trails, including one that loops through a pocosin wetlands with Venus flytraps growing along the edges.

Carolina Beach State Park offers a campground that is located in a secluded, wooded area underneath towering oak trees. The campground has 83 tent campsites and features picnic tables, grills, drinking water, restrooms and hot showers.

Winner's RV Park

Situated along North Carolina's Cape Fear Coast in the heart of Carolina Beach, Winner's RV Park offers its campers a convenient location to explore the area's historic attractions and partake in the various outdoor recreation activities the North Carolina coast has to offer. Miles of beaches offering fishing, boating, surfing and swimming opportunities are within walking distance of the park.

Winner's RV Park has 22 RV sites, all equipped with water, sewer and electric hookups. The campground has an RV/boat storage lot and welcomes pets for no additional charge.

Carolina Beach Family Campground

Located just south of historic Wilmington, North Carolina, Carolina Beach Family Campground is just minutes away from Carolina Beach, Fort Fisher and Kure Beach.

Swimming, boating, fishing, crabbing, surfing and wildlife viewing are examples of activities you can enjoy near the campground. Downtown Wilmington and the Battleship "North Carolina" are also just minutes away from the campground.

Open year-round, Carolina Beach Family Campground accommodates tents and RVs in its large, wooded sites. The campground features a swimming pool, a laundry facility, a general store and restrooms with hot showers. Leashed pets are welcome for no additional charge.
