Ravenwood Castle
Ravenwood Castle is a castle (medieval hotel) and it also has cottage accommodations. The Ravenwood's Great Hall offers medieval dining. In the 50 foot Great Hall there is a setting of huge stained glass windows and a humongous fireplace. Call for information on the occasional themed dinners with historic menus. They invite you to come in costume.

Great Lakes Medieval Faire and Marketplace
This is not an actual restaurant, but it is medieval and full of good eats. The Faire schedule varies during the Summertime (check the official website), but during the Faire, there is an "Feast Tyme." During this event faire-goers sit at long tables and sample the fare such as samplings of various fine ales. The feast, which are each about a hour and a half long, run on the weekends and are theme with names such as "Princess Gloriana's Feast of Fantasy," or "The O'Hatfields vs. the MacCoys: a Family Feast Feud."

Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament
If you are willing to go on a pilgrimage in search of finest medieval fare and entertainment, set you sites on Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament. Cincinnati's two nearest "castles" are the Toronto, Canada and Schaumburg, Illinois locations. Originating in Spain, Medieval Times is celebrating a 25 year reign in North America.
The Toronto location, the largest of all Medieval Times, is housed in a former Arts and Crafts Building of Exhibition Place. It is still as regal as all of the other Medieval Times castles.
The Schaumburg Castle is one of Medieval Times' most elaborate and dramatic because of its "colossal stone tower" and "emerald lawns," as described on the Official Medieval Times website.
Inside of the family-friendly castles you will be welcomed to the to the 11th century. You will find medieval games of skill and skilled knights (sporting medieval armor) dueling in jousting tournaments. But you won''t just watch the medieval happenings around you. Right from your seat, you get in on the action: eating with your hands. At the long tables, guest are sit in stadium-style seats as they watch the show. On the menu you'll find medieval "style" foods like hearty roasted potatoes and herb topped bread.
