Fishing
Hyrum Lake State Park provides fishing all year long. There are a diverse selection of fish including yellow perch, rainbow trout, bluegill, and largemouth bass. This is one of the reasons this lake is popular with the local youth. There is a fishing limit of six bass, and only one of them can be over 12 inches.

Water Skiing
This lake also offers an excellent opportunity to water ski and swim. It spans approximately 264 acres of water and is surrounded by the stunning mountain terrain. This lake tends to attract families to play in the water on most summer weekends. As of 2010, the cost per day is $6. Summer hours are 6 a.m. until 10 p.m.,winter hours are 8 a.m. until 5 p.m.

Camping
Camping is the other activity that brings a large amount of visitors. There is picnicking, RV trailer sites, drinking fountains, clean rest rooms and shower facilities. As of 2010, the camping fee is $16 per night. There are 32 possible tent sites available. There is plenty of wildlife to observe. Reservations are accepted from mid-April until the beginning of September.

Smart Moves
Smart Moves is an activity that was created by the Boys & Girls Clubs of America and occurs at all of their locations. It involves engaging youth ages 6 to 13 in character building activities that develop their decision making abilities. The topics include goal setting, family importance, healthy living, self-image and consequences to decisions.

Boys & Girls Club of America Activities
Arts and crafts activities are hosted by the Boys & Girls Club every Wednesday. Some of the crafts include nature, holiday, culture or seasonal items. Many different mediums are used to make the crafts. Scrapbooks, stained-glass, beaded jewelry and decorations are a few of the items that can be made by the kids.
