Turner Field in Atlanta is the home of the Atlanta Braves major league baseball team. A visit to the ballpark for a game is a great way to spend an afternoon or evening. Hiking the Atlanta Ramble, a 5.4-mile loop from Turner Field that will take you past sights including the Georgia Dome, Philips Arena, CNN Center and Centennial Park, is another fun way to get to know downtown Atlanta. When exploring the city, it's nice to have a motel close to Turner Field as your headquarters.

Located in the heart of downtown Atlanta, this Motel 6 provides easy access to all of the city's main attractions. It's 2.1 miles from Turner Field. Also nearby are the Georgia Aquarium, the Martin Luther King Jr. National Historic Site, Centennial Olympic Park and more. The front desk folks are known to be extremely friendly and helpful. A real bonus is that the motel offers free parking on location. One of the closest restaurants is the Hard Rock Cafe, less than half a mile away.
