Galae Thai

Diners shouldn't let Galae Thai's strip-mall location fool them; once they step inside this Thai restaurant, they'll be surrounded by bas relief goddesses, intricate wooden carvings and elegant, Thai-style furnishings. The meticulously curated decor gives Galae Thai its ambiance, but it's not all the restaurant has to offer. The menu is packed with Thai food favorites, from Tom Kha Gai (coconut chicken soup) and spring rolls to drunken noodles (rice noodles and meat with a chili, basil and garlic sauce) and panang (curry with coconut milk, basil and lime leaves). The restaurant is located just over a block away from the Eisenhower Avenue Metro Station.
