Casa Mision
Casa Mision is an elegant and peaceful retreat. It is a six-block walk from the center of town, making it slightly further away than other hotels, but this makes for quiet nights and no noisy bus, or traffic noise. Rooms are graciously appointed and the service is warm and friendly. Breakfast, including juice and something special from the Chef, is included in the room rate.

One of the more interesting and affordable hotels in San Miguel de Allende is the La Mansion del Bosque. The service here is excellent and very personal. The location is in the historical park district four blocks from the main square, the restaurants, the library and Bellas Artes. Room views are of the park and its towering trees that are hundreds of years old. There are different rates in this hotel, one that includes breakfast and dinner, and the other does not.
