Children's Museum of the Upstate
The Children's Museum of the Upstate opened in the summer of 2009 and is located in downtown Greensville in what used to be the Hughes Main Library. After extensive renovations, the Children's Museum features three floors of exhibits, which allow children to have hands-on discovery experiences. The exhibits are focused in the arts, humanities and sciences, including health and nutrition. The museum is for children ages two to 15. However, most exhibits are designed for children ages six to 10 years of age and there are a few exhibits for infants and toddlers.
