Located in the foothills of the Smoky Mountains and the Blue Ridge Mountains, Forest City boasts a wide range of recreation for outdoor enthusiasts. Hiking, biking and other recreation can be found at Chimney Rock State Park, Lake Lure and at the Rocky Broad River.
