Frazeysburg, Ohio area Hotels

Frazeysburg, Ohio is a small village of just over 1,200 residents--according to the 2000 census report--and claims to be the home of the largest apple basket. The village sits on the banks of Wakatomika Creek, where visitors will find boating, canoeing and other water activities. There are no hotels in the village, but there are some in the nearby towns.

Inn at Dresden

The Inn at Dresden is the closest hotel to Frazeysburg. Located just five miles away from the small village, the inn was originally the home of Dave Longaberger, founder of Longaberger baskets, which claims to have the world's largest apple basket. The rooms at the inn come with private baths, cable television, wireless Internet service, CD/VCRs and DVD players. The inn is close to several area attractions such as the Zane Grey Museum, The Wilds, The Works and the Roscoe Historical Village.

Fairfield Inn

The Fairfield Inn is located off I-70 in Zanesville, just 20 minutes from Frazeyburg and beside the Muskinghum River. Many of the area's attractions, like Dillon Lake State Park or The Lorena Sternwheeler, are just a short distance away. Guests can spend their morning playing golf at the Eaglesticks Golf Course and the afternoon at the river or lake. The rooms have cable television and high-speed wireless Internet access. The Red Lobster, Old Market House and Maria Adornettos restaurants are nearby.

Super 8

The Super 8 is also close to Dillon Lake, where guests will find a host of water sports. All rooms are equipped with cable television and wireless Internet service, and some also have microwaves and refrigerators. A complimentary SuperStart breakfast comes with the accommodations. Guests can dine at nearby restaurants like the Red Lobster, Olive Garden or the Tumbleweed.
