Whitehouse is a village in Lucas County, Ohio, with an estimated population of 4,000 residents. Land use is largely residential, with some commercial and industrial uses. Whitehouse has a lot of available recreational activities, including miles of hiking and biking trails, where many rare birds and wildlife may be seen. Three and a half miles of the 63-mile Wabash Cannonball Trail passes through the uptown area of Whitehouse. Other trails in the area are in the Oak Openings Park and the Blue Creek Conservation Area.
