Minnesota RV Resorts Near St.Paul, Minneapolis With RV Storage

St. Paul is one of Minnesota's Twin Cities. Minneapolis, St. Pauls' twin, is across the Mississippi River, making for a continuous metropolitan area. There are opportunities for canoeing, kayaking and fishing in the river. The Twin Cities have an extensive trail system. Biking, hiking, walking and running opportunities abound within the city limits. In winter, there are miles of groomed cross-country ski trails for urbanites and visitors to enjoy. There are several RV parks in the greater St. Paul area, including some that allow RV storage.

St. Paul East RV Park

St. Paul East RV Park is a resort style campground. The resort is open seasonally from mid-April to October. RV storage can be accommodated during the open months with special monthly rates. There are limits as to size and how many additional vehicles may be parked and stored at the seasonal or monthly rate sites. RV sites have standard 30- or 50-amp electric hookup, water and sewer connections. Wi-Fi and cable TV hookups are available. Bathrooms and showers are on-site for guests. Pets on a leash are allowed. Fishing, canoeing and bicycling are available from the campground.

Town and Country Campground

The Town and Country can accommodate most size RVs and offers a monthly or seasonal rate, which allows for RV storage. The park is open seasonally between late April through September or October each year (weather depending). The RV sites come with water, sewer and 30- or 50-amp electric hookup. Pets are allowed. A guest room, laundry room, dump station and bathrooms and showers are available. There is a heated swimming pool and hot tub to enjoy. Many lakes are in the region, making for easy access to canoeing, kayaking and fishing.

Shakopee RV Resort

The Shakopee is south of the Twin Cities and has rates for monthly and seasonal stays, which can be used as RV storage. The resort has water, sewer, cable TV and Wi-Fi connections. Electric hookups can be 30- or 50-amp electric depending on need. Pets are allowed. There are hot showers, private bathrooms, picnic stations and a dump station available. The Mall of America is within a 30 minute drive for those seeking "urban adventures." There are several lakes in the area suitable for fishing, canoeing and bird watching.
