Cascade is a small town situated about 74 miles north of Boise in Idaho. The town has much to offer adventurous spirits and lovers of the great outdoors, including 92 lakes in the area, where hiking, mountain biking and water sports can be enjoyed. In the wintertime, downhill skiing, cross-country skiing and snowmobiling are all popular in Cascade.

The Ashley Inn offers 67 rooms and suites with amenities that include king and queen size beds, fireplaces, seating nooks or bay windows, plush bathrobes, triple sheeted bedding, big screen TVs with cable, DVD players, complimentary high speed Internet access, fax ports, ironing equipment, tea and coffee making implements, hair dryers and alarm clocks. A breakfast is served each morning, with such items as Belgian waffles, cinnamon rolls, pastries, omelets, yogurt, cheese, fruit, coffee, hot cocoa and French vanilla cappuccino on offer. There is an indoor swimming pool and hot tub on the premises, both open 24 hours a day. In the surrounding area, you can enjoy such activities as sleigh rides, tubing, skiing, snowmobiling and feeding elk.

Bears Knight Inn

Rooms at the Bears Knight Inn come equipped with cable television, air conditioning, in room coffee and tea making amenities, DVD players, small refrigerators and microwave ovens. Handicap-accessible rooms are also available, as are rooms with small kitchens. The Bears Knight Inn is a short distance away from Cascade Lake, where hiking and water sports can be enjoyed. In addition, there is a souvenir shop on the premises selling items by local artists.

Pinewood Lodge

All rooms at the Pinewood Lodge come equipped with queen size beds, color cable TVs, high speed wireless Internet access, phones with free local calls, fridges, microwave ovens and tea and coffee making amenities. One unit comes with a small kitchen. Choose from smoking and nonsmoking accommodations. Small pets are welcome at the Pinewood Lodge. There are 92 lakes and 169 streams within a 50-mile radius of the property. On the nearby Cascade Lake, swimming, sailing and water skiing are all on offer. Room rates at the Pinewood Lodge are significantly lower in the winter than in the summertime.
