Built in 1863 and lovingly restored, a Big Log Cabin in the Clouds offers a private retreat nestled among 120-acres of prairie and woodlands. Views from the 34-foot front porch include Southern Indiana's rolling terrain, restored tall-grass prairie and the managed woodlands. The outdoor hot-tub offers equally amazing views.

For hikers and wildlife-enthusiasts, there are two miles of private trails, where bald eagles are often spotted among other wildlife.

Amenities included at a Big Log Cabin in the Clouds include a full chef's kitchen, white-cedar and handmade furnishings and two bathrooms with oversized showers. The cabin also boasts central-air-conditioning and heat, using the latest in eco-friendly technology.

A Little Log Cabin in the Woods

Bordering the Hoosier National Forest and tucked into a private 40-acre nature preserve, a Little Log Cabin in the woods offers outdoor-enthusiasts opportunities for quiet hikes and wildlife-viewing. The cabin is more than 150 years old, but boasts modern conveniences such as central air-conditioning and heat, a stone fireplace, a full bathroom and kitchen and a new hot tub under the stars.

Back to Nature Cabins-The Lake House

Offering four different cabins--all private--that can each accommodate six to eight guests, Back to Nature is recommended for small groups on retreat.

The Lake House Cabin, which sleeps six, is situated on 7.5 acres near Lake Monroe in Bloomington. This cabin offers a full kitchen, covered porch and wrap-around deck, high-speed Internet, and a covered outdoor hot tub. Complimentary kayaks are also available.

The Back to Nature Cabin, which sleeps eight, offers privacy and seclusion near the State Forest. Two jacuzzi tubs, an outdoor hot tub and fire-pit are among the offered amenities at this f ully-equipped cabin.

Bordering Yellowwood State forest on 12-acres, the Snuggled Inn can accommodate up to 12 guests as comfortably as two. An outdoor hot tub and pool table are among offered conveniences for visitors.

The Woodland Retreat cabin is a short drive from Lake Lemon, where outdoors- and water-enthusiasts can enjoy boating, swimming or hiking around the lake. This cabin can accommodate up to eight guests, and offers an outdoor hot tub, pool table and a fire-pit.
