Encompassing 20 acres of lush tropical gardens, Edison & Ford Winter Estates is a popular attraction in Fort Myers. Edison & Ford Winter Estates features Thomas Edison's and Henry Ford's historical homes, Edison's laboratory, a museum and museum store and a garden and cottage shop. The Winter Estates are a Florida Historical landmark.

Fort Myers Yacht Basin

Fort Myers Yacht Basin is 15 miles inland from the Gulf of Mexico at mile marker 135 on the Okeechobee Waterway. A protected marina, Fort Myers Yacht Basin is owned and operated by the City of Fort Myers and is located next to Centennial Park. While Fort Myers Yacht Basin is a popular spot for engaging in water sports, its downtown location makes it a popular spot to visit to see the marina, Centennial Park and nearby historical sites.

Centennial Park

Located on the banks of the Caloosahatchee River, Centennial Park is a ten-acre community park in Fort Myers, Florida. Amenities include a handicap-accessible playground, fishing pier, boat docks and launching ramp, promenade path, two picnic pavilions, volleyball courts and beaches.
