A long day out on the trail exploring Lexington's many parks and natural wonders will certainly help you work up an appetite. If the salty, sweet and spicy flavors of Korean food are what you crave, you're in luck. Lexington is home to several excellent Korean restaurants, many of which are located near areas of natural beauty such as parks and reservoirs--perfect for that after-dinner hike.

Arirang Garden

Arirang Garden is located near Reservoirs 1-3 in the Boone Creek area. Its specialties include an all-you-can-eat Korean barbecue plate, bibim bap (a fried noodle dish made with egg) and kimchee casserole. It also offers an all-you-can-eat buffet.

Koreana Authentic Restaurant

Koreana Authentic Restaurant, also in the Boone Creek area, is an excellent choice for a date night. While its inauspicious strip mall locale might serve to lower your expectations, its fare such as beef bulgoki shouldn't disappoint.

Pan Pacific Kentucky

Its close proximity to the University of Kentucky makes Pan Pacific Kentucky very popular with students who have a craving for Korean barbecue. This pan-Asian restaurant also serves other cuisines such as Japanese and Chinese, but Korean fare such as the spicy Bul Go Gee is the real crowd-pleaser.
