The Grand Hotel
The 156-room Elizabethan-style Grand Hotel has been around since 1806 and once served as the residence of Sir Edward Barnes, the former governor of Sri Lanka during the British Raj period (from 1858 to 1947 when South Asia was ruled by British colonial command).
