Concord's Colonial Inn
Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, Concord's Colonial Inn was first built in 1716 and has been operating as a hotel since 1889. The hotel overlooks Monument Square and Henry David Thoreau lived at the inn during his years at Harvard. Each room comes equipped with free wireless Internet, air conditioning and cable TV. Originally built as a home in 1885, the building has also been a women's clothing store and eventually turned into an inn in 1993. The North Bridge Inn is in downtown Concord and is within walking distance of the Main Street shopping district. Also nearby is the Battle Road Trail.
