Dot's Diner
Every great city needs a great diner. Boulder has Dot's Diner, a dig with a casual 1950's vibe. The décor is laden with chrome and vinyl. No-nonsense people with a friendly personalities make up the staff. Portions are large, and favorites include the egg combos, french toast and buttermilk biscuits with red-eye gravy. Reservations are not accepted, and take-out is available.

The Buff
Christopher Meyer and Jacquelyn Sproul have owned this laid-back restaurant with a warm and homey feel since 1995, when it was originally the Golden Buff Grill. The extensive breakfast menu includes a number of items from the griddle that include banana bread french toast, lemon pecan griddle cakes and saddlebags, which are pancakes filled with bacon, sausage or ham. There are also numerous egg dishes to choose from, varying from alternative types of eggs Benedict, skillet eggs and omelets. Shirts, boxer shorts and coffee mugs are also available for those guests looking for a keepsake item.

Foolish Craig's Cafe
Known for its delicious crepes, Foolish Craig's Café is a fun and easy-going restaurant that also serves a large variety of enormous omelets and other egg dishes. They also bake their own bread on the premises. Locals and visitors alike claim Foolish Craig's Café serves some of the best bloody Marys in Boulder. Breakfast items are available until 5 p.m. daily.
