Michigan is home to a variety of ski areas and lodges in both the Lower and Upper Peninsula. Its northern location and long winters makes it a popular ski destination. Ski lodges are used year around as many ski destinations provide summer recreation activities which include golf, hiking and mountain biking.

Mountain Grand Lodge and Spa

Mountain Grand Lodge is located at Boyne Mountain Ski Resort and offers 220 hotel rooms as well as suites with one to three bedrooms. The European themed hotel sits at the base of the ski hill giving guests direct access to the slopes. Room amenities include wireless Internet, work desk and a refrigerator along with whirlpool tubs, sitting areas and kitchenettes in the suites. There is an on-site full service spa that includes in-room treatments, cafe and restaurant with lounge that serves American cuisine. The lodge is located at the Boyne Mountain ski area which is 405 acres and feature 60 runs with 10 lifts and several levels of difficulty catering to all skiers.

Boyne Highlands Main Lodge

The Main Lodge is located at the base of Boyne Highlands Ski Resort offering 165 hotel rooms with ski in/ski out access to the ski slopes. Rooms have either two double beds or a king bed; all rooms include wireless Internet, a refrigerator and microwave. Suites are also available that can accommodate up to six guests and have an electric fireplace and separate sitting area.

Facility amenities include an outdoor heated pool and hot tub, game room and exercise room. There is a large restaurant on-site that serves American cuisine and includes a separate cocktail lounge. Boyne Highlands has 430 acres of skiing that includes 54 runs with 8 lifts as well as a terrain park with halfpipe.

Pine Mountain Resort

Pine Mountain Golf and Ski Resort is located at the Pine Mountain ski area and features 34 lodge rooms, two suites and 24 condo units. Lodge rooms include free wireless Internet, cable TV and a work desk. Condo units have one or two bedrooms, fully equipped kitchenette and fireplace along with access to a free laundry facility. The resort has an exercise room, breakfast only restaurant and indoor swimming area that includes a hot tub and sitting area. Pine Mountain Resort has 160 acres of ski are that include 16 runs and five lifts as well as a terrain park.
