Mize, Miss., is a tiny community in south-central Mississippi. As of July 2008, the population was 277. The nearby Ross Barnett Lake provides opportunities for fishing, mostly for bluegill and large-mouth bass, and primitive camping facilities are provided at the lake. If visitors wish to stay in a hotel, however, they will need to find one in the surrounding areas.
