According to New Hampshire Living online magazine, every region of the state has an independent airport or landing strip and several commercial airports are also available as destinations for travelers. Manchester is the most frequently utilized commercial airport, with over 3.5 million passengers annually. Outdoor enthusiasts traveling to New Hampshire can ski at one of 20 resorts, hike, camp on hundreds of lakes, ponds and rivers or zip line across the canopy of Bretton Woods.

Manchester-Boston Regional Airport

Providing a convenient alternative to Boston's Logan International Airport, according to airport's website, the Manchester Airport (MHT) is 50 miles north of Boston and less than an hour to the ski mountains and coastal beaches. Airport amenities include a frequent flyer lounge, several pubs and restaurants, gift shops and transportation options. Six major airlines serve MHT, including Delta and Southwest. Hourly, daily and weekly parking is available with free shuttle bus service to the terminal. Manchester-Boston Regional Airport is located in southern New Hampshire in the Merrimack region and several nearby accommodation options are available.

Laconia Municipal Airport

In the Lakes region of New Hampshire, Laconia Municipal Airport is a full-service destination for professional pilots and visitors, with two fixed-base operators, maintenance facilities, hangars and rental car agencies. The stated mission of the Laconia Airport is "to be for public purposes as an aid to national and state defense and for the convenience of the public," according to the airport's website, and serve as an educational center, transportation hub and center of aviation for the region. Other services include flight training, refueling, scenic flights, aircraft rental and tie downs. The Lakes region is located in central New Hampshire and offers aquatic recreation at several lakes and Weirs Beach which features a boardwalk, sandy beach, hiking and fishing.

Berlin Municipal Airport

For travel to the northern Great North Woods region of New Hampshire, the Berlin Municipal Airport is open to corporate, charter, or private planes. Three tie downs are available and aviation fuel is availble 24 hours a day through a self-serve system. Fixed base operations at Berlin Airport include scenic flights, repairs and pilot training. Located seven miles north of the city of Berlin, ground transportation options include a rental car with prior arrangements or taxi service. A luncheonette and general store provide on-site dining options for visitors passing through the Berlin Airport.
