The Equatorial
The Equatorial is a sprawling hilltop complex with stunning penthouse views, an indoor swimming pool and gym, high-speed Internet access on high floors, restaurants, bars and a full-service tour desk. Jungle trekking to waterfalls and lookouts on the Gunung Brinchang trail and in the Mossy Forest around Tanah Rata ranges from easy to difficult. The Lakehouse
The Lakehouse is a "Tudor-style boutique resort" on a hilltop 1,000 meters above sea level with spectacular views of the surrounding terrain. It is located between the towns of Tanah Rata and Ringlet, close to three tea plantations and two waterfalls. The rooms and suites in the guesthouse and the main house have both Wi-Fi and antique table fans, and the hotel offers full concierge service along with jungle guides for trekking in the hills surrounding the hotel and a reading room for quiet time between adventures. All rooms include breakfast for two and daily fresh fruit platters, but charges do not include tax and tips.
