Hotels Near Svay Chrum, Cambodia

Svay Chrum is a district in the southeastern Cambodian province of Svay Rieng. Svay Chrum encircles the provincial capital--also named Svay Rieng. Cambodian National Highway 1, which connects Phnom Penh and Ho Chi Minh City, passes through Svay Chrum and Svay Rieng. If you are travelling between Phnom Penh and Ho Chi Minh City by car or bus, you'll most likely pass through Svay Rieng city. Accordingly, the nearest and best place to find accommodations, if you're in Svay Chrum district, will be Svay Rieng city.

Tonlay Waiko Hotel

The Tonlay Waiko Hotel is the largest hotel in the city. All rooms are are air-conditioned and equipped with a telephone, cable TV and fridge and include a western style bathroom. The Tonlay Waiko also has a restaurant and nightclub. As of February, 2010, rooms are $10 to $15.

Santepheap Guesthouse

Santepheap Guesthouse offer basic accommodations for a reasonable price. At the Santepheap their are two types of rooms: rooms with bathrooms for $5 a night and rooms without bathrooms for $4 a night, as of February, 2010. Furthermore, rooms on the first floor are smaller and without windows while rooms on the second floor are larger and with windows.

Vimean Monorom Hotel

While the Vimean Monorom is not as big as the Tonlay, it does offer good value for a low price. As of February, 2010, the Vimean has basic rooms for $10 with a fan or $15 with air conditioning. All rooms include a western-style bath.

Samaki Guesthouse

As with most other accommodation in Svay Rieng, the Samaki offers a cheaper room without air conditioning/fan or bathroom for about $4. The Samaki also offers a slightly more expensive room with a shared bathroom for about $5. Prices are as of February, 2010.
