Oakley Polarized Monster Dog Fishing Specific
Oakley's Polarized Monster Dog Fishing Specific sunglasses were created with the angler in mind. Called a "a very effective blend of technology and wear-ability," by Field and Stream Magazine, the Monster Dog sports a lightweight, wraparound frame effectively blocks sunlight, and two lens options (Deep Blue Iridium Polarized and Shallow Blue Iridium Polarized) allow effective fish spotting at different depths.
Zeal Optics Maestro
Known for their innovative line of ZB-13 polarized lenses, one of Zeal Optics' most notable pieces is their Maestro sunglasses. Chosen by Outside Magazine as Gear of the Year, the Maestro's tint made quite an impression on Outside.com's Mike Steere, who said that the Maestro's tint provides contrast and improves depth perception for watching action below the water's surface. He also noted the lenses were versatile in "so many light conditions that you'd think they were photochromic." They also stay put, as the lenses' hydrophillic nose and earpieces get stickier when they get wet.
Wiley X Reign Polarized
Tactical sunglass maker Wiley X's Reign Polarized fishing sunglasses feature an eight-layer lens design, providing scratch and shatter resistance as well as visual acuity and UV protection. Citing its durability and clarity, Sport Fishing Magazine states that there is "simply no better vision protection" for fisherman than that of the Reign. In addition to the lenses, its frames are fisherman-friendly as well, eaturing top-down ventilation to prevent fogging and a removable facial cavity seal to block peripheral light as well as water spray.
