Oregon, known as the "Beaver State," has national parks, rocky beaches along the Pacific coast, rain forest and desert. The state has been home to sports celebrities such as Steve Prefontaine, and famous novelists like Ken Kesey. There are opportunities for many outdoor activities and sports in Oregon. Sea kayaking, surfing, scuba diving and kite surfing are possible along the coast. Go hiking, mountain biking, skiing and mountaineering in the Cascade Mountains and around Bend. Amenities include a media center, tennis courts, valet parking assistance, laundry room, guest house and lounge, spa, swimming pool, dump station and private toilets and showers. Pets are welcome. There is a leash-free dog play area. Sites have water, sewer, cable TV, Wi-Fi and electricity. A concierge service can help book tours and trips in the area. The Applegate Trail Interpretive Center, 30 minutes away, is where visitors can learn about the natural history of the region.

Bathrooms and showers as well as a laundry room are on the premises for guests. Leashed pets are welcome. Road bicycling between area wineries is possible from the campground. Mountain biking, hiking and rock climbing opportunities are in the Umpqua National Forest.
