Twenty miles down the road, the David Crockett State Park has hiking, boating, fishing, camping and biking.

Crazy Horse Recreational Park

Located on the Buffalo River, the Crazy Horse Recreational Park's motel is 10 miles north of Waynesboro's city limits. There are eight rooms, six with two full-sized beds and two with one full-sized bed. The rooms come with full-sized refrigerators, coffeemaker, linens, air conditioner, satellite television and bathroom with shower. Each room has a screened porch, some with a view of the river. The park has a strict no pets policy and smoking is only permitted outside. The resort also offers camping spaces for RV's and tents, as well as cabin rentals. An onsite convenience store sells food, drinks, shirts, camping and fishing supplies, and has equipment rentals. Guests can take part in park activities like picnicking, swimming, fishing and canoeing.

Ren-Cass Motel

The Ren-Cass Motel is a family-owned and operated establishment in Waynesboro, Tennessee. This motel features 11 rooms with two room styles.
