Hotels in Corinth, Mississippi

Hotels in Corinth, Mississippi
Though eclipsed by more popular Civil War sites like Vicksburg and Shiloh (with a battleground you can visit 22 miles away), Corinth, Mississippi also played its part in the conflict. Visiting the town gives you the opportunity to experience the state's living history. Confederate Gen. Pierre G.T. Beauregard tried holding the town after the Battle of Shiloh because of the intersection of two major railroads. Now Corinth is at the intersection of U.S. Highways 45 and 72. You'll find such historical sites as Fort Williams, the Battle of Corinth Battleground and the Corinth National Cemetery. You'll also find many interesting hotels in Corinth.
