Carnot Posey House

The Carnot Posey House is a small abode built in 1845. It was the home to Carnot Posey, a general in the Confederate Army during the Civil War. Posey was wounded at Bristoe Station, Virginia, and died on November 13, 1863. His home in Woodville, Mississippi was converted into a quaint three-room bed and breakfast for guests who wanted a little history with their stay. The common room offers a generous breakfast with made-to order food, in a relaxing atmosphere. There is also a hot tub and heated pool on the grounds.
