RV Campgrounds in Niagara Falls, New York

Niagara Falls, in western New York state, sits on the border between the United States and Canada, and is home to the famous Niagara Falls. Also, to the north is Lake Ontario, and Lake Erie to the south. A tourist destination for generations, there are several campgrounds in the area for those interested in viewing the waterfalls and the surrounding area.

Niagara Falls KOA

On the southern side of the town of Niagara Falls is the Niagara Falls KOA. About three miles from the waterfalls, the campground has sites for recreational vehicles and tent camping, along with facilities such as washrooms, laundromats, a station for filling propane, a snack bar, and grocery store. There is also an indoor swimming pool, sauna, hot tub, game room, bike rentals, a playground, horseshoe throwing, basketball, volleyball, and an off-leash playground for pets. There is even a dinner show called, "Oh Canada Eh." The Niagara Falls KOA is open from April to October.

Niagara Falls North KOA

Located about 10 miles from the Niagara Falls on the northern side of town is the Niagara Falls North KOA. The campground has hookups for recreational vehicles for water, sewer, and electrical services, as well as a picnic table and fire ring at each campsite. Other amenities include propane gas, restroom and shower facilities, a game room, playground, a dump station, laundry facility, and free Wi-Fi Internet service. There's also hiking trails on the property, bike rentals, and a camp store onsite. The Niagara Falls North KOA is open seasonally from April to October.

Darien Lakes State Park

East of Niagara Falls is Darien Lakes State Park. The park has 158 campsites with electrical hookups that can accommodate recreational vehicles. There are also shower facilities, restrooms, and a dump station nearby. The park has hiking and horseback riding trails, playgrounds, and picnic areas. The campsites are available between mid-May and mid-October.

Campark Resorts

On the Canadian side of the border is Campark Resorts, which has 297 campground spaces for RV camping, with 224 spaces that are equipped with water, electric, and sewer services. Other campground facilities include showers, a laundromat, washrooms, and a dump station. There's also a playground, swimming pool, hot tub, a miniature golf course, and an arcade.
