Campgrounds near Lake Bridgeport, Texas
Located about an hour northwest of Fort Worth, the small town of Lake Bridgeport, Texas is not only close to the nearly 12,000-acre lake for which it is named, but also near the Caddo-LBJ National Grasslands and Fort Richardson State Park. Whether you're coming to the area for the fishing or to explore the history and nature around the lake, you'll find plenty to keep the whole family active, and there are several campgrounds located nearby from which you can choose.

Paradise RV Park

Just a few miles southeast of Lake Bridgeport you'll find Paradise RV Park right off State Highway 114. The campground has full hookups for RVs that include water, sewer and 30- and 50-amp electric service, and Internet connection is available. There are laundry facilities and vending machines on the property, and a maximum of one pet is allowed. You can rent sites at Paradise RV Park nightly, weekly, bi-weekly or monthly, depending on the length of your stay. You'll be close to Lake Bridgeport as well as the Texas Motor Speedway.

Shady Oaks RV Park

The Shady Oaks RV Park is located in the picturesque Caddo-LBJ National Grasslands, just a short drive northeast of Lake Bridgeport. It has both tent sites and RV sites with full hookups including water, sewer, and 30- and 50-amp electric service. Some pull-through sites are available as well. As its name implies, the campground has many sites that are located in the shade of large, leafy oak trees, and there is an outdoor swimming pool that's ideal for cooling off on a hot Texas day. The park is pet-friendly, and if you're traveling with horses where are even a barn and stable. If you're bringing your boat to fish on Lake Bridgeport, the site has storage area for it.

Sunset RV Park

Sunset RV Park has 37 spacious RV sites located over eight acres, and they are all pull-through sites. Full RV hookups include water, sewer, and 20-, 30-, and 50-camp electric service, and there is free wireless Internet access throughout the campground. Free showers and free laundry service are perks of staying at Sunset RV Park, and a restaurant and convenience store are located within walking distance. The rural setting makes for a quiet and relaxing park, but if you're here to explore Lake Bridgeport, you just have a short drive south to reach its shores.
