Albany is located where the Calapooia and Williamette rivers meet in western Oregon. Tourist attractions include the Albany Regional Museum and the Monteith House, one of the oldest buildings in the city. Albany has many parks for outdoor activities, including the 90-acre Timber Linn and the 70-acre Bryant with its diverse facilities that feature everything from picnicking sites to trail and river access. The Pfeiffer Cottage Inn

This inn is a charming two story cottage built in 1908 by Charles and Catherine Pfeiffer, who also built other homes and ran a hotel in Albany. It is located in the largest historic district in Oregon and within walking distance of downtown Albany, near antique stores, specialty shops and restaurants. Also nearby are wineries and recreational and entertainment areas. The inn has modern luxury amenities in its two bedroom suite and single guest room. The rooms display the home's history, family heirlooms and vintage finds.

Phoenix Inn Suites

The Phoenix Inn Suites in Albany belongs to a chain of 12 hotels in Oregon and Washington. The hotel caters to business and leisure travelers and families. It has 93 suites, a pool, spa, fitness center and meeting rooms for up to 170 people. Part of the nationwide Comfort Inn chain of hotels, the Comfort Suites is off Interstate 5 next door to the Linn County Fair & Expo Center and the Albany Municipal Airport. It is three miles from Heritage Mall and close to Oregon State University, the Two Rivers Market dining and shopping area and the Monteith House museum. Free amenities include local calls, full hot breakfast, wireless high-speed Internet access, coffee and weekday newspapers. The hotel has an indoor pool, hot tub, sauna and exercise room.
