Oxford, Mississippi, is home to the University of Mississippi and is located within close proximity to recreational areas, such as Holly Springs National Forest. This site provides facilities for picnics and camping, as well as paths for hiking and horseback riding. Oxford is also near Sardis Lake, a body of water that offers opportunities for fishing and boating. Holiday Inn Express is an American national hotel chain whose original hotel was established in Memphis, Tennessee, a city that is approximately an hour north of Oxford. This hotel provides its guests with access to outdoor sites, such as Enid Lake, which facilitates fishing and boating activities. This body of water is also surrounded by recreational areas, including Water Valley Landing and Cossar State Park, that have facilities for picnics, as well as paths for walking. Holiday Inn Express feature amenities such as exercise room, business center with fax services and complimentary continental breakfast. Each guestroom at this hotel includes cable television, microwave, and refrigerator, and each suite has a mini-bar.
