Norfolk, Virginia is a city of 237,764 people and more than 100 neighborhoods, according to the city government's website. Norfolk is also the home of the thriving Port of Virginia, which handles more than 1 million tons of cargo each month, and Naval Station Norfolk, which is "the largest naval complex in the world," according to the U.S. Navy.
