Fishing Lodges Up the Yentna River in Alaska
The Yentna River in Alaska forms at the Mount Dall Glacier and runs 100 miles southeast where it joins the Susitna River 30 miles north of Anchorage. Anglers will find several fishing resorts on the Yentna that provide guided fishing for Pacific salmon, rainbow trout and arctic grayling.

Riverson Lodge

Riverson Lodge, located on the Yentna River 70 miles northwest of Anchorage, is accessed by float plane only. It offers fishing packages that includes a private cabin with daily housekeeping, all means and beverages excluding alcohol, and daily guided fishing trips. Guests are brought to locations on the Yentna River and Lake Creek where they will fish for salmon, trout and arctic grayling from boat and wading. All equipment is provided during the trip, as is fish-cleaning and -packing for your trip home. Optional excursions are offered for an extra fee and include day trips to distant lakes and rivers by float plane or helicopter.

Cottonwood Lodge

Cottonwood Lodge is located on Lake Creek just a few miles upstream from where it converges with the Yentna River and 65 miles northwest of Anchorage. Packages include a private river-front cabin, all meals and beverages excluding alcohol, and daily fishing trips with all equipment and fish processing included. Fishing is on Lake Creek and the Yentna River, where guests fish for all five types of Pacific salmon, rainbow trout and arctic grayling, with a combination of float fishing and wading.

The Lake Creek Lodge

The Lake Creek Lodge is located at the convergence of Lake Creek and the Yentna River and offers cabins that accommodate two to four guests and include views of both rivers. Packages include lodging, all meals and beverages excluding alcohol, and daily guided fishing trips on either river. The lodge is also home to the only full liquor bar in the area and is open day and night. Guests are allowed to fish on their own or with a guide, with all equipment included as well as fish-cleaning and -packaging. Guests can enjoy trips to various spots on both rivers where they can catch salmon, trout and arctic grayling. The Lake Creek Lodge will also customize your trip to include fishing in other inland lakes and rivers upon request.
