Fishing Resorts in Minnesota
Minnesota is the land of 10,000 lakes and offers visitors a variety of fishing resorts with varying amenities. Resorts are concentrated in the northern half of the state, where there is an abundance of unexploited lakes with large populations of walleye, northern pike and perch.

Adventure North Resort

Adventure North Resort is in north-central Minnesota on Leech Lake, which covers 112,000 acres and has a maximum depth of 150 feet. The resort offers rental homes and cabins from one to five bedrooms with all containing a fully equipped kitchen, deck and all linens. Facility amenities include a heated outdoor pool, swimming area and playground, along with a picnic area, bonfire pit and wireless Internet. It offers covered fishing docks for boat storage, boat and jet ski rental and several fishing piers for guest use. Leech Lake has large populations of walleye, perch, bluegill and northern pike.

Anchor Inn Resort

Anchor Inn resort is on the Bowstring River in north-central Minnesota and offers rental cabins that can accommodate one to eight guests. Cabins include fully equipped kitchens, all linens and most are a few steps from the water. The resort also has a campground with partial hookups as well as lodge hotel rooms. Facility amenities include a swimming area, game room, gift shop and a weekly fish fry. The Bowstring River gives guests access to Sand Lake and Little Sand Lake, where there is quality fishing for walleye, smallmouth bass and northern pike. The resort has rental boats available as well as room to dock your boat.

Tomahawk Lodge Resort

Tomahawk Lodge Resort is on Blackduck Lake in north-central Minnesota and offers two- and three-bedrooms cabins. Cabins include a fully equipped kitchen, cable TV and all linens, as well as a fire pit and lake view from most cabins. Facility amenities include a pool, hot tub, laundry area, swimming area and fish-cleaning house. Blackduck Lake is 2,600 acres and holds large populations of walleye, northern pike and perch. Tomahawk Lodge has boat rentals, dock space and a fishing pier for guests.
