Cedarville is located in the northern part of Michigan on the north side of Lake Huron and one hour from Canada. Fishing is a popular recreational activity because of the close proximity of the Great Lakes, and several guide services are in the area to help you find your limit. Other recreation such as hiking and camping are also available in places like Sault Ste. Marie State Forest.

Stormy Chinook Fishing Charters offers excursions on the area's Great Lakes, Michigan and Huron, in search of salmon and trout. Other fish varieties typically caught include walleye, steelhead and whitefish. All equipment and bait is provided, so you need not bring any supplies. Trips last about six hours, and all fish are cleaned for you.

Dream Seaker Charters

Dream Seaker Charters offers guided charter boat services on Lake Huron, St. Clair River and St. Mary River. Boats leave out of several marinas including Cedarville. Fish varieties include several types of salmon, trout, perch, northern pike, steelhead and walleye. A Michigan fishing license is sold on site and equipment is provided.

Fort Drummond Marine

If you have your own boat and are looking for a place to put in to the water, Fort Drummond Marine is just to the east of Cedarville and has access to more than just Lake Huron. From the docks you can travel into Lake Huron to the south or Potagannissing Bay, which will take you into Munuscong Lake and St. Mary's River. A store is on site for any fishing supplies you might need. Salmon, trout, pike and walleye are among the more abundant fish in the waterways.
