Ice Skating at Keystone Lake
Visitors can strap on their ice skates and take a whirl around Keystone Lake. Located in the heart of Lakeside Villge, Keystone's five-acre lake is the largest Zamboni-maintained outdoor rink in North America. The facility rents all types of ice skates as well as hockey sticks and pucks for a pick-up game of hockey. The area is decked out with holiday lights and cheerful music and is great for a romantic evening with your significant other or as a day outing for the entire family.
Scenic Gondola Rides
Keystone Resort offers scenic gondola rides in both the summer and the winter. If you are not spending a day skiing at Keystone, a gondola ride is a must-do. Visitors can take the gondola to the top of the mountains anytime from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. and in the evening when night skiing is open. Keystone also offers several gondola package deals that include lunch or dinner at the Alpenglow Stube or the Der Fondue Chessel, restaurants located atop the gondolas.
Tubing
Keystone Ski Resort has a high-adrenaline tubing hill at Adventure Point. Definitely one of Colorado's best tubing spots, Adventure Point is located on Dercum Mountain. The long and steep tubing hill has its own lift so thrill-seekers can ride back up the mountain and then fly down the tubing hill again and again. It is possible to tube at Adventure Point during the day or evening when night skiing is open. Reservations are strongly encouraged and some height restrictions apply.
