Traveling with four people can be a difficult task, especially when it comes to lodging. Hotels in New York City are usually set up to accommodate up to two people with the option of booking an adjoining room for more, but this setup may not be the most convenient for your party. In this case, several hotels offer a quad room with two or more beds that can sleep four people. Finding a room in your price range is simply a matter of knowing where to look.

Waldorf Astoria New York

On the higher end of the price scale, the famous Waldorf Astoria offers both a two-bedroom suite and a single room with two double beds for up to four occupants. Internet access and satellite TV are standard in all rooms, and Sunday brunch by the Peacock Alley restaurant is available weekly. The Guerlain Spa inside the hotel offers a myriad of beauty services, massages and body wraps, as well as a cardio and fitness center for guests. Room price depends on the amount of space you need, and the view.

Chelsea Savoy Hotel

A more moderately priced hotel is the Chelsea Savoy. Located in the heart of the Chelsea District, it's just a few streets away from Midtown Manhattan for entertainment and the Financial District for business. Many subway connections can be reached just a few steps from the hotel's front door, and both the Chelsea Art Museum and Manhattan Mall are within walking distance. Wireless access and voicemail are available in each room, and a Continental-style breakfast is served each morning. An automated wake-up call service can be arranged in advance. Quad rooms with two double beds are available, with the price dependent on your view from the room.

70 Park Avenue Hotel

Midtown Manhattan serves as the backdrop for 70 Park Avenue, a boutique hotel that's four blocks away from Grand Central Station in New York's Murray Hill neighborhood. Rockefeller Plaza and the shops on Fifth Avenue are also within walking distance. While a fitness center is not located on the property, the hotel is close to the New York Sports Club. Every room comes equipped with 42-inch screen plasma TVs, a docking station for your Ipod and bath products from L'Occitane. Spa services are available in-room. If your party of four also includes a furry companion, pets are allowed at 70 Park if you arrange it in advance. Children 12 and under stay for free. If you're earth-conscious and want to stay at a hotel that feels the same, 70 Park also uses earth-friendly cleaning products and participates in recycling.
