Saveur Creole
Saveur Creole is the most traditional Haitian eatery in New Jersey. Its interior is decorated in blazing yellow paint with a large mural of the Caribbean on the wall. Saveur Creole's menu, which offers dine-in, carry-out and catering dishes, is a mix of seafood and spicy meat dishes. Among the house specials are girot mi casa, a pork dish served with fried plantains and spicy pickles, as well as chicken with a coconut creole curry sauce.

Crossroads at Garwood mixes traditional Haitian, Creole and Cajun cooking in a venue focused on live blues and jazz music.
