The quaint town of Sebastian lies along central Florida's east coast within Indian River County. With the Indian River Lagoon lining its eastern side, Sebastian is an angler's paradise, offering numerous opportunities for fishing and boating. The Atlantic Ocean is approximately five miles away, offering outdoor enthusiasts more opportunities for fishing, boating, enjoying various water sports, as well as viewing wildlife. Pelican's Landing Resort

On the Indian River Lagoon and canopied by large oak trees is Pelican's Landing Resort in Sebastian. The resort offers full hook-up sites with 30- and 50-amp service. Campers can choose between two waterfront sites, which include a dock, two waterfront sites without a dock, six sites that have a water view and seven standard sites. All sites are large and will accommodate larger rigs and include Wi-Fi. The resort also has eight cottages for rent. The resort has a picnic area with grills and shuffleboard court. Boaters and anglers will appreciate the resort's boat dock, ramp, boat slips, boathouse, and fishing pier for enjoying the Indian River. Sebastian Inlet State Park is approximately 15 miles east, offering outstanding opportunities for fishing, boating, hiking and enjoying the river and ocean.

Vero Beach Kamp RV Park

Vero Beach Kamp RV Park is in Sebastian on almost 18 acres canopied by large oaks. The park offers 120 full hook-up sites that are shady and large, which include cement pads, 30- or 50-amp service, cable TV, picnic tables and grills, with telephone service available and pets accepted. There are also shaded tent sites available away from the RV's. The park has a recreation hall, laundry facility, pool, showers, restrooms, dump station, shuffleboard, and planned activities. The park also has cottages for rent. Anglers and boaters are approximately 1/2 mile from the Indian River, where they can use the various public boat launches in the area; the ocean is just five miles away.

Whispering Palms RV Resort

Whispering Palms RV Resort is a large, age 55 and over facility in Sebastian offering 572 full hook-up sites for rent. Sites are large and will accommodate the biggest RV and offer 30- and 50-amp service, as well as concrete pads, and Wi-Fi, with phone and cable TV available at some sites for an additional charge. The resort has restrooms, showers, dump station, laundry facility, recreation hall, two heated pools, tennis courts and billiards, with a road for biking. Passport America members receive a discount. The resort is approximately 1/2 mile from the Indian River, offering opportunities for fishing and boating. Pelican Island National Wildlife Refuge is approximately one mile away, offering opportunities for viewing wildlife and various species of birds, as well as offering hikers a 1/4-mile long boardwalk trail to an observation towers overlooking the area.
