Situated in between Absaroka-Beartooth Wilderness, Gallatin Wilderness and Yellowstone National Park, Gardiner is certainly a haven for outdoor enthusiasts. Gardiner is home to Yellowstone's north park entrance. Visitors to the area will find activities like fishing, biking, horseback riding, kayaking and hunting. Because the area is rich with tourism, there are many establishments that offer cabin rentals. Cabins in Gardiner provide a central location to many of the popular outdoor attractions in Montana.

Rocky Mountain Campground

Rocky Mountain Campground offers four separate cabins to visitors. All cabins have one or two rooms and include a refrigerator, air-conditioning, a picnic table and a fire ring. Two of the cabins have a front porch. You must bring you own linens or sleeping bags and use the campground's shower facilities and restrooms. Cabins at Rocky Mountain Campground provide an ideal location for visiting Yellowstone National Park. There you'll find activities such as fly-fishing, whitewater rafting and hiking. Those entering the park in Gardiner can see the famous Roosevelt Arch, dedicated to President Theodore Roosevelt in 1803.

Riverside Cottages

Alongside the Yellowstone River in Gardiner you'll find the Riverside Cottages. All cabins include full kitchens, small dining areas, queen beds, cable television, air-conditioning, a ceiling fan and a private bath with a shower. Pet-friendly accommodations and free wireless Internet are available as well. The establishment has a walkway that leads to the river, a deck with a hot tub, picnic tables and barbecue grills. Only five miles south of the Riverside Cottages you'll find the Mammoth Hot Springs and thousands of miles of hiking in Yellowstone National Park. The Roosevelt Arch can be seen from the establishment.

Hillcrest Cottages

Located at the north entrance of Yellowstone Park in Gardiner, Hillcrest Cottages offers accommodations for those looking to stay for a few days or more. All cabins include cable television, kitchenettes and air-conditioning. Accommodations are all non-smoking. Cabins vary in size and can accommodate six to eight people. Absaroka-Beartooth Wilderness can be found to the north of Gardiner with the opportunity for fishing, hiking and horseback riding. The entrance to Yellowstone National Park is just a few minutes from Hillcrest. There you'll be able to kayak, whitewater raft and see wildlife like elk, bears and bald eagles.
