Montgomery Bell State Park
Seven miles east of Dickson, you'll find the Montgomery Bell State Park, which offers both tent and RV camping as well as an inn. The campground can accommodate RVs up to 60 feet long and provide water, sewer, and 30- or 50-amp electric service. There are also two pull-through sites that are accessible to people with disabilities. Montgomery Bell State Park also has 47 cabins that sleep 120 people. The park's nearly 4,000 acres contain an 18-hole golf course, almost 20 miles of trails, and three lakes where you can fish, canoe or rent paddleboats. There is also a nature center that offers a variety of interpretive programs.

Dickson RV Park
Dickson RV Park, located just off of Interstate 40, is a few miles south of the downtown area. However, there are several restaurants and a go-kart track within walking distance. RVs up to 38 feet are accommodated at the campground, which offers full hookups, including water, sewer, and 30- and 50-amp electric service. Most sites are shady, and there is wireless Internet available throughout the park. Dickson RV Park also has several cabins for rent, and there is a small store on-site with movie rentals. This campground is a convenient place to stay if you are stopping for a night while driving a long distance on I-40.

Tanbark Campground
Located southwest of Dickson, Tanbark Campground is right off Interstate 40, a convenient stop for people traveling long distances across the coast-to-coast highway. The park has 38 RV sites, which feature full hookups with water, sewer and 50-amp electric service. Most of the sites are designed for RVs up to 40 feet, but there are five sites that can accommodate up to 56-foot recreational vehicles. Well-behaved pets are allowed, and guests are expected to be quiet after 9 p.m. Free wireless Internet is available throughout the park.
