Lafayette is in west central Indiana, about an hour's drive from Indianapolis and two hours from Chicago. Prophetstown State Park is just to the north, giving you the opportunity for outdoor recreation, and camping is available in the area. Other attractions you might want to visit while in the area include Tippecanoe Battlefield Museum, golf courses and the Wabash River.

Wolfe's Leisure Time Campground

Wolfe's Leisure Time Campground is located on the Wabash River. On-site recreation includes swimming, playgrounds, hiking trails, boating and fishing. There are also several games to play, such as basketball, volleyball and billiards. Other features include Wi-Fi service, laundry facilities, a rec room and restrooms. Sites come equipped with full or partial hookups for RVs and campers as well as primitive tent sites.

Big Fish-N-Campground

Big Fish-N-Campground features three stocked ponds on the property as well as trails, volleyball, basketball and a swimming pool. Stocked fish include bass, catfish, carp and Kentucky blue. Other features of the campground include a snack shop, store and propane sales. Tent and RV sites are available with utilities, picnic tables and fire pits.

Attica Family Campground

Attica Family Campground is situated about 25 miles southwest of Lafayette. The campground is located next to the Badlands Off Road Park. Campground amenities include grocery supplies, dumpsters, a rec room, bathhouse and restrooms. Sites are offered for RVs, campers and tents with full or partial hookups and electrical connections from 20 to 60 amps.
