Located approximately 23 miles northeast of Rochester, Ontario is a small town in Wayne County, New York, which lies on the southern shore of Lake Ontario. The town and nearby area offers visitors public parks and golf courses, marinas, 10,000 acres of public hunting grounds, and a number of scenic hiking and biking trails, but perhaps the most famous area attractions are the 504-mile Seaway Trail and the Erie Canal. Ontario also has several restaurants where hungry visitors can dine after a long day of outdoor recreation.

Konstantinou's

Konstantinou's, located at the corner of Route 104 and Furnace Road, boasts that it offers "The Finest Dining in Ontario, New York" for breakfast, lunch and dinner seven days a week. The breakfast menu includes items like fresh eggs prepared any style with seasoned home fries and toast, three-egg omelets, pancakes and French toast. Lunch and dinner menus offer clams casino, fried macaroni & cheese, Oriental chicken salad, a selection of USDA choice Angus steaks, fresh seafood and more. Konstantinou's, as its name suggests, also features several Greek specialties such as chicken souvlaki salad, a gyro sandwich and a dish called "Our Own Greek Pasta" with angel hair pasta, feta cheese, butter and garlic served with a charbroiled pita. Reservations are accepted for parties of all sizes, and a children's menu is available.

Bill Gray's

Declaring itself "Home of the World's Greatest Cheeseburger," Bill Gray's restaurant has won numerous awards for its burgers and a local New York State tradition, the fish fry. A variety of burgers can be ordered at Bill Gray's including the bacon cheeseburger, ground steak burger, mushroom Swiss burger and the "World's Greatest Cheeseburger." Hot dogs with a variety of toppings, chicken sandwiches, seafood sandwiches and flat-bread pitas are also popular menu items. The seafood dinners feature a selection of haddock, shrimp or clams and are served with a choice of side items like baked beans, French fries or coleslaw. Bill Gray's is open seven days a week for lunch and dinner.

Capizzo's Sports Bar and Restaurant

Caprizzo's Sports Bar and Restaurant offers casual dining in a warm, friendly atmosphere. A tavern menu that features items like a half-pound hamburger, prime rib sandwich, various types of chicken wings, chicken sandwiches and hot dogs is available Sunday through Wednesday, and also on Saturday. Thursday offers an additional "Steak Night" menu that gives diners a selection of strip steak, Delmonico, rib eye or porterhouse steak with a choice of potato and a crisp garden salad. Friday features even more choices like "Daisy's Famous Fish Fry", three different cuts of prime rib and various pasta, veal and chicken dishes. A variety of foreign and domestic beers are available by the bottle or on tap. Caprizzo's is open for lunch and dinner every day.
